Privacy
Your birth details stay on your device
Your birth date, time and place are saved only in your browser's local storage so pages can be personalised. They are not sent to our server or anyone else. Chart calculations run in your browser.
City search
When you type a birth place, the text is sent to our server to look it up in a bundled city list. If there are few matches, our server may ask the free Open-Meteo geocoding service on your behalf. We don't store these queries.
Sky view: location and motion sensors
If you allow it, your device location and motion sensors are used in your browser to point the sky view. They never leave your device.
Analytics
We count visits with two cookieless tools: Cloudflare Web Analytics (visits and page speed) and Umami, which we host on our own server (visits and which tools are used, such as calculating a chart, comparing charts or sharing). These events say only whether a birth time and place were given, never your birth date, time, place or name. Your country is worked out from your IP address. We do not use advertising trackers, and with Do Not Track on nothing is counted.
Your control
Use “Forget me” on your profile page to remove everything stored in this browser. For any other privacy request, email us.
