Planets in Astrology

In astrology the Sun and Moon count as planets too. Each planet stands for a part of the psyche: the Sun your core self, the Moon your feelings and needs, Mercury how you think, Venus what you love, Mars what drives you. The sign a planet is in shows how it works, the house where.

The Sun to Mars move quickly and are personal; Jupiter and Saturn are social; Uranus, Neptune and Pluto move so slowly that a whole generation shares their sign, so their house and aspects make them personal.
