The Empress
The Empress is card III of the 22 major arcana of the tarot; in the Golden Dawn tradition it corresponds to Venus.

The Empress is life growing in its own time: care, pleasure and the patience of things that ripen. She reminds you that what you nurture, flourishes.

Questions to sit with
- What in my life is asking to be tended rather than pushed?
- How could I receive as generously as I give?
A small practice
Spend ten minutes doing something purely for the senses: a walk, a meal cooked slowly, music, a garden.
In the Fool's journey
Tarot here is a mirror for reflection, not a prediction. The meanings follow the Waite-Smith tradition and the Golden Dawn attributions, in our own words.
